composed of a polyester film/nonwoven composite reinforced backing coated on one side with
a thermosetting rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive.
 Commonly used in applications such as stick-wound coil/transformer and in bobbin-wound
coils for banding, anchoring and insulating
 Commonly used in protecting start wires, leads, terminal strips, insulating paper, end turns
and connections in motors and transformers
 Adhesive requires no heat, moisture or other manner of preparation to affect application
 Designed for continuous operation not exceeding 130°C (266°F) per UL and CSA listings
